We The Curious
About This Museum
You know that feeling when you walk into a place and instantly feel smarter? That's We The Curious. Forget the dusty cabinets and 'do not touch' signs; this entire science centre is a vibrant playground for your brain. I spent a solid ten minutes just trying to build a stable arch out of giant foam blocks, and let me tell you, it's harder than it looks. The energy in the rooms is infectious, filled with the sounds of kids (and adults!) gasping at some new discovery.
Collection Highlights
The Planetarium is an absolute must-seeβlying back under that dome is a genuinely breathtaking escape. Downstairs, you can find an actual fermentation lab where you can watch microbes at work, and my personal favourite was the 'Animation Studio,' where I made my own silly cartoon in minutes.
Visitor Information
It's right on Millennium Square in Bristol, so it's super easy to find. Definitely book the planetarium shows online in advance as they fill up fast. Oh, and wear comfy shoes because you'll be too busy experimenting to sit down.
Architecture & Building
Housed in a sleek, modern building with a dramatic curved glass facade that reflects the buzz of the public square outside. It feels more like walking into a cool tech hub than a traditional museum.
