The National Motorcycle Museum
About This Museum
You'd never guess it, but tucked away just off the motorway near the NEC is the largest collection of British motorcycles in the world. It's a proper Aladdin's cave for anyone who remembers the distinctive thump of a British engine. The main hall is simply vast, gleaming with row upon row of beautifully restored machines, each with its own story to tell. It’s a nostalgic trip that’ll have you reminiscing about old race days and classic engineering.
Collection Highlights
You can't miss the stunning Brough Superiors, the very bikes T.E. Lawrence famously rode, or the formidable Vincent Black Shadow that was once the world's fastest production motorcycle. There are also entire lines of Triumphs, BSAs, and Nortons, all looking as if they've just rolled off the factory floor.
Visitor Information
It's easy to find on the Coventry Road in Bickenhill, with plenty of parking. After you've had your fill of chrome and steel, their restaurant is a great spot for a cuppa and a bite—it’s a popular stop for bikers and families alike.
Architecture & Building
From the outside, it's a modern, functional exhibition hall built for purpose rather than grandeur, reflecting its location in a major business and transport hub.
