Museum of Lincolnshire Life
About This Museum
Just spent a fantastic afternoon at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, tucked away on Burton Road. It's not your typical quiet museum; you can actually hear the clank and hiss of a massive steam engine! I loved wandering through the recreated period rooms and old-fashioned shops – it felt like stepping right back in time. The best part was watching the working printing press in action and getting to take home a freshly printed souvenir.
Collection Highlights
Massive steam engines, a charming recreation of Victorian-era shops and homes, and a fully operational printing press where you can see demonstrations.
