Museum of Fantastic Illusions
About This Museum
You know how everyone's always looking for that perfect, mind-bending photo for their feed? That's exactly why people flock to the Museum of Fantastic Illusions. It's not a stuffy, quiet place at all; instead, you're encouraged to climb, pose, and become part of dozens of clever 3D paintings and optical illusions. One minute you're holding up a wobbly 'Leaning Tower of Prague', and the next you're escaping a giant spider's web! The whole experience is just pure, unadulterated fun from start to finish.
Collection Highlights
Definitely the gravity-defying room where you can take a picture sideways, making it look like you're climbing the walls. The giant piano keyboard on the floor is also a blast, and trying to 'hold' the historic Charles Bridge in your hands never gets old.
Visitor Information
It's tucked away on Vodičkova street right in the city center, so it's super easy to pop into after seeing the main sights. Just bring your phone with plenty of storage—you'll be taking way more pictures than you think!
Architecture & Building
It's housed in a fairly nondescript building on a bustling city street; nothing fancy from the outside, which makes all the magic waiting inside even more of a wonderful surprise.
