Aston Hall
About This Museum
People come to Aston Hall for that classic 'time travel' feeling, and let me tell you, it absolutely delivers. Stepping across the threshold of this incredible red-brick mansion instantly transports you back to the 17th century. I was completely captivated by the grand, carved oak staircase and the sheer opulence of the state rooms, where you can almost hear the rustle of silk gowns. Wandering through the peaceful gardens afterwards provided a perfect, quiet moment to reflect on all that history. It’s one of those places that gives you a real, tangible connection to England's storied past.

Don't miss the stunning Long Gallery running the length of the house, and keep an eye out for the intricate 'wizard's head' carving on the main staircase newel post—it's a quirky detail with a fun story.
