Seoul Children's Museum
About This Museum
Tucked away in the family-friendly Gwangjin District of Seoul, this isn't your typical quiet museum. The Seoul Children's Museum is a vibrant, hands-on playground for curious young minds, where the line between playing and learning beautifully disappears. Every corner invites interaction, from a giant water play area to a construction zone where kids can build their own structures. It’s a place of pure, joyful discovery.
Collection Highlights
Kids can get wonderfully messy in the Water Play Zone, experiment with physics on pulley chairs, and explore a real-life grocery market. My favorite is the Culture Village, where they can try on traditional Korean hanbok and experience different global customs.
Visitor Information
It's located right next to Children's Grand Park, so you can easily make a full day of it. Be sure to book your tickets online in advance as time slots can fill up quickly, especially on weekends!
Architecture & Building
The building itself is modern and welcoming, with bright, open spaces and large windows that flood the interactive exhibits with natural light.
