The Museu Arte Sacra is tucked inside a beautifully preserved 17th-century monastery, offering a cool, hushed respite from the sun. Inside, it's not just a room of artifacts; it's an intimate journey into the soul of Brazilian Baroque. The way the light filters through the old windows onto the gilded woodwork is absolutely breathtaking.

The real stars are the processional statues, their expressive faces carved from wood and hauntingly lifelike. Don't miss the delicate silver monstrance, glittering behind glass, or the ornate altarpiece that seems to glow from within.
