You'd never guess that this charming white villa, tucked away in Waiwera, was once slated for demolition. It was saved, lock, stock, and barrel, by the Couldrey family who filled it with a lifetime of treasures. Stepping inside is like walking back into a 1920s family home where every surface tells a story. The gardens are just as much a part of the experience, a tranquil haven of roses and heritage plants.
Collection Highlights
Look for the beautiful collection of hand-painted Bohemian glass and the delicate English china. Upstairs, you'll find an entire room dedicated to vintage toys and dolls that will spark memories. Don't miss the old gramophone in the parlour; you can almost hear the crackle of a 78rpm record.
