Art Studio Pandur
About This Museum
Tucked away on Mostar's historic Kujundžiluk street, Art Studio Pandur feels less like a formal gallery and more like stepping directly into a working artist's sanctuary. It’s a vibrant, living space where the scent of paint and turpentine hangs in the air, and the creative process is always on display. You won't find sterile white walls here; instead, the room buzzes with the energy of new ideas taking shape. This intimate studio offers a genuine and unfiltered look into the heart of Mostar's contemporary art scene.
Collection Highlights
The collection is an eclectic mix of modern paintings, dynamic sculptures, and graphic works, primarily from local Bosnian-Herzegovinian artists. The pieces often reflect the complex cultural tapestry of the region, with bold colors and expressive forms that tell powerful stories. What's on view is constantly rotating, as finished works find new homes and fresh creations emerge from the studio corner.
Visitor Information
Don't be shy—chat with the artists themselves if they're around; they're incredibly welcoming and often happy to discuss their work. It’s a small space, so you can have a deeply personal experience in just 20-30 minutes. While you're there, take a moment to appreciate being in a real workshop, surrounded by half-finished canvases and well-used tools.
Architecture & Building
Housed in a traditional stone building typical of old Mostar, the studio retains its original Ottoman-era charm with creaky wooden floors and thick walls that keep it cool. The rustic interior, complete with exposed beams and a large window flooding the space with natural light, perfectly complements the raw creativity found within.
