Tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of Chaiyaphum town, this little museum is a total hidden gem for anyone curious about local craft. I was blown away by the sheer artistry on display—it's so much more than just old cloth. You can really feel the passion and history woven into every single piece, from intricate patterns to vibrant natural dyes that still look fresh today. It’s a wonderfully intimate and personal look at the soul of this region.
Collection Highlights
The stars of the show are the stunning Pha Khit textiles, where artisans stitch elaborate storytelling scenes onto cotton cloth. They also have beautiful examples of traditional Pha Sin (wrap-around skirts) and displays explaining how they create those incredible colors from local plants.
