About This Museum
People come here not just to see old planes, but to feel the roar of a different era. It's tucked right next to the active runways of Antwerp Airport, which makes watching a modern jet land right after seeing a 1930s trainer feel absolutely surreal. You get up close to beautifully restored aircraft, some of which you can even sit in, and the passion of the volunteers who keep this history alive is completely infectious. It’s a hidden gem that’s more about heart and hands-on history than sterile exhibits.
Collection Highlights
The stars are definitely the Belgian-built Stampe & Vertongen SV.4 biplanes, suspended in flight or waiting for you to climb into the cockpit. You'll also find powerful military birds like the Fouga Magister jet trainer and a collection of radial engines you can practically hear just by looking at them.

It's surprisingly easy to find—just follow the signs at Antwerp International Airport. Check their website for open days as they're run by volunteers, but it's absolutely worth planning your visit around their schedule.
Architecture & Building
Housed in a no-nonsense, functional hangar that feels perfectly authentic. It’s all corrugated metal and vast open space, which honestly makes it the ideal, unpretentious home for these flying machines.
