The collection is wonderfully diverse, featuring stunning scroll-style thangka paintings depicting Buddhist deities, aged brass ritual objects, and a powerful photographic archive of Himalayan life. One of the most captivating exhibits for me was a display of traditional jewelry—heavy, ornate silver pieces that whispered stories of trade routes and tribal identity.
Visitor Information
It's located right on Chamunda Peeth Temple Road, so you can easily combine a visit with seeing the temple. Just be prepared for a bit of a walk, as it's in a quieter part of Mussoorie. The space is small and personal, so you can take your time without feeling rushed—it’s the perfect escape from the main mall crowd.
