It's less a formal museum and more a conversation with our past, pieced together from the things our grandparents and their grandparents left behind. You'll find everything from ancient clay pots pulled from the Kür riverbanks to the personal journals of local poets. The air itself feels thick with memory, a quiet hum of all the lives that have shaped this land.
Collection Highlights
Look for the beautifully preserved traditional Salyan carpets, their wool still vibrant with natural dyes, and the humble tools used by fishermen on the Kür for generations. One of my favorite pieces is a simple copper coffee set that tells its own story of hospitality and daily life.

It's easy to find right on Səməd Vurğun street; just look for the local history buffs often chatting out front. Pop in, take your time, and don't be shy about asking questions—the caretakers love sharing stories you won't find on any plaque.
