It’s not a purpose-built museum but the actual former residence of the Gjon Marka Gjoni family, which gives it an incredibly intimate and authentic feel. You wander through rooms that have been perfectly preserved, each one telling a story of daily life, craftsmanship, and social traditions. Collection Highlights
The ground floor showcases the working life of the household with traditional looms and fulling mallets used for processing wool. Upstairs, the family's living quarters are beautifully arranged with elaborate national costumes, finely crafted weapons, and heavy wooden furniture carved with intricate patterns.
