Museum of Copenhagen
About This Museum
People come to the Museum of Copenhagen for the simple pleasure of getting to know the city on a deeper level, tracing its journey from a small Viking fishing village to the vibrant, modern capital it is today. You'll wander through rooms filled with everything from ancient artifacts dug up during metro construction to the original golden spire of the 17th-century Church of Our Saviour. It’s a place that feels both grand and surprisingly intimate, packed with stories of everyday Copenhageners across the centuries. Stepping back outside, you’ll likely find yourself looking at the familiar streets around you with a new, more appreciative eye.
