It all started when local families, wanting to preserve the threads of their own stories, began donating precious heirlooms and forgotten treasures. You'll find everything from Mapuche pottery shards whispering of ancient lakeside settlements to the faded leather saddles of the huasos who once rode these lands. The air is thick with the scent of old wood and memories, a quiet space where the past feels very much alive.
Collection Highlights
Look for the beautiful silver spurs and intricate horse gear that speak to our region's deep equestrian roots. One of the most poignant exhibits is a collection of old photographs showing Vichuquén's original wooden church before it was lost to time.
