About This Museum

People don't just come to the Panini Museum for the cars; they come for a piece of the Maserati family's soul, tucked away on a quiet Modena farm. It feels less like a formal museum and more like you've been given a secret key to the world's most incredible private garage. You're surrounded by automotive royalty, from gleaming pre-war classics to Formula 1 monsters, all collected by Umberto Panini himself. The sheer passion behind this place is palpable, making it an absolute must for any car enthusiast visiting Motor Valley.

Collection Highlights

The crown jewel is undoubtedly the only existing Maserati Tipo 61 'Birdcage' powered by a V12 engine, its intricate chassis exposed like a work of art. Alongside it sits the stunning A6 GCS Pinin Farina Berlinetta and row upon row of pristine vintage Maseratis, many looking as if they just rolled off the line.

Visitor Information

It's surprisingly easy to find, located just outside Modena near the airport—look for the historic farmhouse complex. Booking ahead is a good idea as it's still a bit of an insider's secret.

Architecture & Building

The collection is housed in a beautifully restored, traditional Emilian farmhouse with rustic brickwork and terracotta tiles, which makes the contrast with the hyper-polished machines inside all the more dramatic.
