You climb up into this ancient stone gatehouse and suddenly the city's entire history unfolds beneath you through old maps, photographs, and really clever models. I was completely captivated by the aerial shots showing how much the coastline has changed. It’s one of those special places that feels small and intimate but completely shifts your perspective on the city.
