I was completely captivated by row upon row of intricately carved stone deities, each one telling a silent story from a millennium ago. It’s not a large museum, but every artifact here feels profoundly important, connecting you directly to the region's deep spiritual past.
Collection Highlights
The star exhibits are the stunning stone sculptures of Hindu gods like Shiva, Vishnu, and Surya rescued from nearby temple sites. Look for the exquisite 'Ekamukhi Shivling' and an impressive array of terracotta figures that show the incredible artistry of the post-Gupta and medieval periods.
