Interactive Music Museum
About This Museum
You know how some museums feel like you're just walking past a bunch of old stuff in glass cases? This place is the complete opposite. We came because we heard it was all about getting your hands on the exhibits, and it's true—kids are everywhere, actually making noise and having a blast. I spent ages at a touch-screen wall that let me compose a simple song just by dragging my fingers. The best part was probably the room full of real instruments you're actually encouraged to play, from giant drums to quirky-looking string instruments I'd never seen before. It’s less of a quiet history lesson and more of a joyful, noisy playground dedicated to the magic of music.
Collection Highlights
The main draws are definitely the interactive sound wall where you create digital music with a swipe of your hand, and the 'Instrument Petting Zoo' room filled with drums, xylophones, and other unusual instruments that are all fair game to try out.
Visitor Information
It's perfect for families—seriously, don't worry about your kids being too loud here. It's tucked away on Calle Beatas 15 right in the heart of Málaga's city center, so it's super easy to pop into after exploring other sights.
Architecture & Building
From the outside, it's housed in a classic Malagueño townhouse with a traditional white facade, but inside it feels surprisingly modern and open to accommodate all the interactive stations.
