I stepped into Experimentanium expecting a museum and found a playground for the curious mind. Forget dusty displays; this place is a symphony of whirring gears, delighted shrieks, and the palpable buzz of discovery. I spent a solid ten minutes just mesmerized by the giant soap bubble exhibit, watching a shimmering sphere envelop a laughing child. And that massive Tesla coil? The crackle of artificial lightning literally made the hair on my arms stand up. It’s less about looking and all about doing, which is exactly how science should be.
Collection Highlights
You can't miss the musical road made of giant piano keys you walk on or the mesmerizing water vortex that demonstrates fluid dynamics. The hall of mirrors had me completely disoriented in the best way possible, and the live experiment demonstrations, especially the one on atmospheric pressure, are absolute must-sees.

It's tucked away in a building off Leningradsky Prospect, so keep an eye out for their signs. Definitely book your tickets online to skip the queue, especially on weekends when it's packed with families. Housed in a converted, no-nonsense Soviet-era industrial building, the exterior is all unassuming brick and function. But inside, it's a vibrant and modern labyrinth of high-ceilinged halls painted in bright colors, where the raw industrial skeleton of the place adds to its hands-on, workshop feel.
