I'll be honest, I ducked in here for a break from the temple sun, but it completely captivated me. It's a surprisingly modern and cool oasis that tells the story of Cambodia's incredible biodiversity, from the mighty Mekong all the way to the Cardamom Mountains. You walk through these beautifully designed habitats feeling like you're on a mini-expedition, not just looking at tanks and cages. It’s an absolute must if you're traveling with kids, or if you just want to appreciate the living creatures that call this kingdom home.
Collection Highlights
Don't miss the surreal walkthrough tunnel where iridescent fish and gentle rays swim right over your head. The gibbon island is a close second, where you can watch these charismatic primates swing and play just an arm's length away.
Visitor Information
It's perfectly located just off the main road to Angkor Wat, making it a fantastic air-conditioned pit stop. The paths are wide and easy to navigate, and the staff are wonderfully friendly.
Architecture & Building
From the outside, it's a sleek, contemporary building with clean lines, but inside it feels like a series of immersive, naturalistic landscapes cleverly contained under one vast, cool roof.
