Inside, it's not your typical stuffy museum; the space feels industrial and raw, with exhibits on the city's history woven right into the old pumping machinery. It’s a place that perfectly marries form and function, leaving you with a real sense of how the city worked.

Collection Highlights

The star of the show is the preserved pumping engine itself, a hulking piece of cast-iron brilliance. You'll also find old maps and photographs that tell the story of Brăila's development, all displayed within the tower's towering, cylindrical core.
