You're essentially walking through the sprawling, open-air ruins of a massive Roman bath complex that dates all the way back to the 3rd century. It's incredible to see the scale of it all—the layout of the hot, warm, and cold rooms is still clearly defined by crumbling walls and ancient brickwork. You can almost picture Romans socializing here nearly two thousand years ago. It’s a powerful, tangible link to the ancient world right in the heart of the city.
Collection Highlights
The main attraction is the bath complex itself, with its intricate hypocaust system—those raised brick pillars that once channeled hot air under the floors to heat the rooms. Scattered around are artifacts like stone inscriptions and architectural fragments that were discovered on-site.

It's an open-air site, so visiting on a nice day is best. It's centrally located near other historical spots, making it easy to combine with a visit to the nearby Temple of Augustus or Ankara Castle.
