Would you believe this place started as a school back in 1838? Stepping inside feels like walking into a grand, old treasure chest for the entire Pančevo region. I was completely captivated by the sheer variety of things they've gathered under one roof, from ancient archaeology to stunning fine art. It’s the kind of museum where you can spend an hour or an entire afternoon, always finding something new to wonder at.
Collection Highlights
You absolutely have to see their incredible collection of icons and the beautiful works from the famous Zsolnay pottery factory. I also loved stumbling upon the traditional folk costumes and the historical exhibits that tell the story of Pančevo itself.
