The journey begins millions of years ago with the incredible hominid fossils from Olduvai Gorge, including a cast of the famed Nutcracker Man. You'll then trace the path of Swahili civilization through ornate wooden doors and Chinese porcelain, leading right up to the poignant struggle for independence, symbolized by Nyerere's iconic little blue car.
