About This Museum
You won't believe this, but the building this museum is inside of is the second largest administrative building in the entire world, after the Pentagon. It feels like stepping into a colossal, marble-clad city all its own, with endless hallways and soaring ceilings that just swallow you whole. The museum itself carves out a small section of this behemoth to tell the wild story of its own creation during Ceaușescu's era. You get to see everything from early architectural plans and scale models to glimpses into the lavish, almost absurdly opulent rooms that were designed for state functions.
