You won't find roped-off, sterile displays here; instead, the place is alive with the textures of woven shital pati and the warm scent of aged wood. It’s a wonderfully intimate space that tells the story of the region through the hands of its artisans.
Collection Highlights
Look for the stunning collection of nakshi kantha quilts, each one telling a story in intricate threadwork. The museum also has an impressive array of traditional fishing traps and tools carved from bamboo and cane, showcasing incredible ingenuity.
