I was immediately struck by how deeply personal it all felt; this isn't just a history of ships, but of the families who built and sailed them. The walls are lined with stunningly detailed ship models and beautiful, hand-drawn nautical charts that tell stories of daring voyages. Don't miss the re-created captain's room, filled with elegant furniture and personal artifacts that make you feel like you're intruding on a private moment. My favorite piece was a massive, ornately carved wooden figurehead from a 19th-century merchant brig, its painted eyes still staring defiantly out to sea.

The collection is beautifully displayed inside a classic, two-story Arvanitic stone house with a red-tiled roof and shuttered windows, typical of the area's traditional architecture.
