Historic Carousel & Museum
About This Museum
People come here for the pure, simple magic of it all. You can't help but smile as you walk around this beautiful, spinning menagerie—there's a majestic lion with a flowing mane, a prancing horse decked out in battle armor, and even a whimsical rabbit. It’s not just a ride; it's a working piece of history that fills the room with the sound of its antique organ music and the scent of old wood. I left feeling like I'd stepped right out of a time machine, completely charmed.

The star is the operational 1909 Menagerie Carousel with over 50 incredible animals to admire or ride. You can also get up close to displays showing how they carved these creatures, and see some of the original paint patterns and tools they used.
