So, I stumbled upon this museum dedicated to Hamid Olimjon and Zulfiya, a real power couple of Uzbek literature. It felt incredibly intimate, like walking through the preserved home of two brilliant artists. You could almost feel their creative energy in the air. It was a beautiful, quiet tribute to their life and work together.
Collection Highlights
You'd find his handwritten poems next to her personal diaries, giving you a glimpse into their shared world. I remember seeing Zulfiya's elegant writing desk and some of Hamid's first editionsβit all felt very personal, not like stuff behind glass.
Visitor Information
Heads up for anyone planning a tripβmy maps are now showing it as permanently closed, which is such a shame. Definitely double-check before you make the journey out to Jizzakh.

It was set in a modest, traditional Uzbek house on Rashidov Street, more like a cozy family home than a grand institution.
