About This Museum

Forget everything you think you know about dusty museums; this place smells like heaven because it's a working chocolate factory. You're hit with the rich, warm scent of roasting cacao beans the moment you walk in, and it’s absolutely glorious. The whole experience is built around seeing how a humble bean from a local farmer is transformed into the beautiful bars and truffles you can buy right there. It’s less a quiet hall of artifacts and more a vibrant, delicious celebration of Indonesian cacao.

Collection Highlights

The real stars are the machines—you can watch the entire bean-to-bar process unfold. They have antique grinding stones used for traditional recipes right next to modern tempering machines. My favorite part was the 'Wall of Cacao,' displaying raw beans from different Indonesian islands, each with its own unique shape and color.

Visitor Information

You absolutely must end your tour at their gelato counter; the dark chocolate sorbet is life-changingly rich and dairy-free. The factory store is packed with goodies, from spicy chili-infused bars to classic 70% dark. It's very casual, so just rock up, no need for fancy bookings.

Architecture & Building

It's set in a spacious, airy warehouse-style building with an open-plan layout, so you can see the whole production line. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, making the polished concrete floors and sleek metal equipment feel modern and clean.
