About This Museum

Believe it or not, this incredible museum for kids is housed inside a historic school building from the 1910s. It's a massive, three-story wonderland where the rule is simple: please touch everything. Instead of quiet halls, you'll find a symphony of laughter and discovery as children climb a colossal noodle forest, tinker with recycled materials in the art studio, and get drenched in the water play area. It’s pure, unadulterated fun designed to spark curiosity.

Collection Highlights

Kids can't get enough of the Climber, a towering three-story structure made of recycled shoelaces and rebar that they can crawl through. Other favorites include the Noodle Forest, a room filled with soft foam noodles, and the Childsplay Theater, where little ones can dress up and put on a show.

Visitor Information

It's located right in downtown Phoenix at 215 N 7th Street. While it's perfect for the ten-and-under crowd, adults will have just as much fun watching them explore. Be prepared for a full day—it's hard to drag anyone away!

Architecture & Building

Housed in the restored and repurposed Monroe School Building, a beautiful red brick structure that originally opened in 1914, blending historic early 20th-century architecture with wildly colorful and modern interiors.
