Auto & Ethno Museum
About This Museum
Tucked away in the Krklino countryside, this place is a total surprise—a personal passion project that feels more like a treasure hunt than a formal museum. You'll find yourself wandering between gleaming classic cars and traditional Macedonian looms, a bizarre but fascinating mix. The air smells faintly of old leather and wood, and every object seems to have its own story waiting to be discovered. It’s the kind of spot where you can easily lose an afternoon just marveling at how these two different worlds collide under one roof.
Collection Highlights
I was captivated by a beautifully restored Zastava 750, parked right next to a display of intricate, hand-woven national costumes. One of the coolest things was seeing vintage automotive tools laid out beside traditional wooden agricultural equipment.
Visitor Information
It's definitely off the beaten path near Korab, so having your own transport is pretty much essential. The owner or caretaker is often around and seems genuinely happy to share stories about the collection.
Architecture & Building
Housed in a large, unassuming building that looks like a converted rural workshop or warehouse, which honestly just adds to its authentic, no-frills charm.
